About Carson Nance & Our Mission

Carson had a smile and a laugh that would fill a room with warmth and sunshine. He had a passion for anything that required competition. Golf became his number one passion, from playing junior golf, being a part of his high school golf team and carrying that passion on by working at Golf ETC.

He was a master at being able to fix your clubs or help find you the right club to improve your game. He loved helping any age golfer but especially loved helping young golfers strive to love the game as much as he did and loved to see them succeed. We are wanting to pass along that passion in future junior golfers the way Carson would have wanted to. We are hoping to see this tournament become a huge event in helping junior golf succeed and grow.

Carson would want every kid to have a chance to play the game. The First Tee is an organization that helps make that happen. We want to be able to present First Tee a check in Carson’s name that would make him smile that big smile and share that deep infectious laugh.

Sponsorships are welcomed at any level! For your donation of $100, our Silver Level sponsors will receive: A sign with your company name OR company logo.

For your donation of $300, Gold Level sponsors will receive: Placement of a sign with your name/company logo and name on our tournament banner.

— Platinum Level

For your donation of $1,000, Platinum Level sponsors will receive: A sign with your name/company name & company logo, your name/company name on the banner, as well as a team entry to the tournament.

— Emerald Level

For your donation of $2500, Emerald Level sponsors will receive: Two foursome entries to the tournament, 2 signs with name/logo, large logo on the tournament banner and banquet acknowledgement

— Diamond Level

For your donation of $10,000, Diamond Level sponsors will receive: Three Foursome entries into the tournament, Signs with name/logo, as well as a large logo on the tournament banner will be depicted and banquet acknowledgment.

For your donation of $50,000, Title Level sponsors will receive: Four Foursome entries into the tournament, Signs with name/logo and large logo on tournament banner and banquet, website and social media acknowledgement.

About The Tournament

The Fifth Annual Carson Nance Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on February 15th, 2025, at the Cleveland Heights Golf Course (2900 Buckingham Ave, Lakeland, FL 33803). The tournament is a shotgun start at 9:00am.

Our charity of choice is First Tee of Lakeland, Florida and we are just as excited to announce the return of this partnership in 2025! The tournament will be played in a scramble format with 4 people per team at $125 per player.

There will be raffle items to bid on, lunch will be provided to the golfers and 1st, 2nd and last place prizes awarded. Special holes include: Carson’s Hole, longest drive and closest to the pin contest. We are limited to the number of teams, so those that sign up and pay are guaranteed to participate, after that there will be a waiting list.
